  1. Take 2 large white fish fillets (I used whiting you can also use cod, seabass or bream)
  2. Prepare 6 shallots
  3. You need 2 long red peppers
  4. Get 1 thumb size ginger piece
  5. Provide 2 cloves garlic
  6. Use 1 red chilli
  7. Take 1 tsp nigella seeds
  8. Provide 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp chilli powder
  10. Get 1 tsp turmeric

  12. Take 200 ml coconut milk
  13. Prepare 1 can chopped tin tomatoes

  1. Finely chop the the shallots, peppers, chilli, garlic and ginger
  2. In a hot pan toast the nigella and cumin seeds in the hot oil until they start to pop
  3. Turn the heat down to medium and add the chopped vegetables. Sauté for 5mins
  4. Make a paste by mixing the chilli powder and turmeric with a dash of water
  5. Stir in the paste
  6. Now stir in fish (cut in chunks). Mix in the tomatoes and coconut milk and simmer for 20mins to reduce.
