  13. Take 8 Cloves
  14. You need 2 Black Cardamoms Water, as needed
  15. Get 1 Tomato, sliced
  16. Provide 1 Green Chilli, sliced
  17. Provide 5 Dried Plums
  18. Take 300 g Plain Yoghurt
  19. Get 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  20. Get 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  21. Use 2 tsp Salt or to taste
  22. Take 1/4 tsp Ground Turmeric
  23. Prepare 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder or to taste
  24. You need 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  25. Use 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  26. Get 500 g Mixed Lamb Pieces, on the bone
  27. Get 🌻For assemble the Biryani
  28. Provide Pinch Yellow & red Food Colour Powder
  29. Take Few drop Kewra water
  30. Take 1 Lemon, sliced into rounds
  31. You need Reserved Fried Onions
  32. Get Fresh Coriander, chopped
  33. Prepare leaves Fresh mint
Instructions to make LAMB BIRYANI::
  1. 🌻Boil the rice: - Wash and soak the rice until the water runs clear. Bring a large pan of water add cinnamon stick, clove and salt cover and boil water Once it's boiling, add the rice and boil rice 80% Drain and set aside until needed.
  2. 🌻Make the lamb masala: - Heat the oil in a deep, wide pan. Once hot, add in the cumin seeds and fry for a minute. Add in the sliced onions and fry until golden and soft. Take out half the fried onions and set aside for later.. Add the hole spices to the pan and fry with the remaining onions. Stir-fry and add a splash of water. Let everything bubble and the water evaporate.
  3. Throw in the sliced tomato, sliced green chilli and dried plums. Stir-fry until the oil begins to rise. In a bowl, stir together the yoghurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, ground turmeric, red chilli powder, ground cumin and ground coriander.
  4. Turn the heat of the pan down and add in the yoghurt mixture. Stir together then turn the heat up. Stir-fry until the oil rises to the surface. Then, add in the lamb pieces and stir-fry until the sauce begins to cling to the lamb. Pour in 170ml water and stir. Bring to the boil and then cover. Turn the heat down and cook until the lamb is tender. Ours took around 30-35 minutes
  5. 🌻Assemble the biryani: - Uncover the lamb and leave it on a low heat. Place all the rice on top of it. Sprinkle red and yellow food colour arrange all lemon and tomato’s slice spread fried onion and coriander and mint leaves.
  6. 🌻Steam the biryani: - Cover the pan with a lid and place a heavy object on top. Turn the heat to high for 1 minute then turn to the lowest and leave to steam for 20 minutes.
  7. 🌻Serve the biryani: - Let the biryani sit off the heat for 10 minutes. Then, gently toss it together. Delicious lamb Biryani is ready serve with Rita & salad. - Enjoy !
