- Provide millet rice
- You need moong dal
- Get chopped onions
- Use chopped tomatoes
- Provide chopped mint leaves
- Provide Coriander leaves
- Prepare green chilli

- Take red chilli pwr
- Use garam masala
- Use oil/ ghee
Steps to make Millet lentil soup:
- Chop all vegetables and keep it ready. - Wash the millet+dal mixture. - In 2 tsp of oil/ghee, fry the chopped onions. When the onions start losing their colour, add the green chillies. - Add Ginger Garlic paste and fry for a few minutes.
- Add Tomatoes and fry till tomatoes become soft. Add salt at this stage so that tomatoes cook quicker. - When the tomatoes are cooked, add Turmeric, Red Chilli powder and Garam masala and mix well. Cook only for a minute. - Add chopped mint leaves.
- Add 6-7 cups of water to this. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles. After 4th whistle, take it off flame and let it cook in it's own steam for about 15 minutes. - Add more water and salt if needed and boil. Add Coriander leaves. Serve hot.
- You can also add various vegetables at this stage. Fry for a few minutes. - Add the washed Millet, Dal, and fry for 5 minutes. - The water should evaporate and dal should fry well.
