The ingredients needed to make Taco tarts:
- Take For tarts
- Use 100 gms flour or maida
- Prepare 59 gms butter chilled
- Use 2 tbsp cold water
- Prepare 1/4 tsp salt
- Take For taco filling
- You need 1 can Baked beans
- You need 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- Prepare 1/4 tsp garlic paste
- Prepare 1 tbsp tomato puree
- Use 1/4 cup sour cream
- Take 1/3 cup lettuce chopped
- You need 2 tbsp chopped spring onion
- Get 1 tbsp parsley
Instructions to make Taco tarts:
- First for the tarts take maida in a mixing bowl, add chillies butter to it, add salt & start rubbing it lightly with your finger tips, once the mixture gets crumbly add cold water & bring the dough togethe, do not knead the dough.
- Then make small balls out of the dough & press it into tart moulds & prick it with a fork & bake the tarts in a preheated oven over 170°c for 15-18min or untill light brown. Remove them from the oven & transfer it on a wire rack & allow them to cool.
- For the taco filling take a sauce pan, add butter to it, once the butter melts add garlic paste & cook it for 2min, then add tomato puree, taco seasoning & cook it for 5-10min, then add canned baked beans & mix everything nicely, & cook it for 2 min & switch off the gas & set it aside.
- For the sour cream mix equal quantities of hung curd & cream cheese & fill it in a piping bag & set aside
- Take the baked tarts add lettuce in the bottom, place the baked beans mixture, finish it with sour cream & garnish with parsley & spring onion.
