  1. Get 2 fish steak(you can take any wish, I have taken Pohala Fish)
  2. You need 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. You need as per taste Red chilli powder
  5. Prepare 1 tsp black pepper powder
  6. You need 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  7. Take 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  8. Provide as required Mustard oil/ vegetable oil for frying
  9. Use 1 sprig curry leaves
  10. Use to taste Salt
Instructions to make Masala fish fry:
  1. Wash,clean and Pat dry the fish properly.
  2. Marinate the fish with salt, little turmeric and lemon juice. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  3. Make a fine paste of all the ingredients- ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,black pepper powder) using either a little oil or a bit of water.
  4. Apply the masala paste on the fish pieces one by one and keep the marinated fish aside for 15mins. Notes :You can even refrigerate the marinated fish for 30 mins to 1 hour if time permits..It would be even more flavourful.
  5. Shallow fry the fish on medium heat with curry leaves;
  6. Once crisp,remove from heat. Serve hot  with onion rings,tomato slices, coriander leaves.
