If you are feeling a little bit down and you’re in need of a happiness pick me up, try a few of these.

Build a trail mix from seeds and/or nuts. Your mood can be elevated by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and so on. This is because these foods are high in magnesium, which helps to raise your production of serotonin. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical substance that dictates to your brain how you feel at all times. The more serotonin in your brain, the more pleasant you’ll feel.
