- You need cream cheese
- Prepare double cream
- Prepare melted butter
- Use digestive biscuits
- You need Icing sugar
- Use thinly sliced strawberries
- You need granulated sugar
- Get Fresh strawberries for syrup
- Take Vanilla extract

Steps to make Strawberry cheesecake:
- For the base, put digestive biscuits in a food bag and crush to crumbs. Alternatively, you can put it in a blender. Pour the melted butter into the crumbs and mix thoroughly. Transfer the biscuit into a cake tin and cool in the fridge.
- Pour cream cheese into a mixing bowl along with the icing sugar, vanilla extract & mix. With an electric hand mixer whipp the cheese while pouring the double cream. Whip until mixture is combined and thick. Pour the mixture into the cake tin with the biscuit base. Smooth the top and start layering the sliced strawberries and store in the fridge.
- In a pot on medium/low heat, add in the water, strawberries and granulated sugar and let simmer for 10 minutes. Once the strawberries have cooked and the syrup has thickened, take it off the heat and let it cool down. Using a sieve, filter the syrup from the strawberries. Store in a jug or gravy boat in the fridge and use as sauce for the cheesecake.
