- Get 2 stalks celery with leaves
- Prepare 1 carrot
- Provide 1 dried red chili (if you want spicy flavor)
- Take 1 Tbsp sesame oil (or veg. oil)
- Use 1 tsp sugar
- Take 2 tsp mirin/sweet cooking sake
- You need 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- Prepare 1 pinch salt
- Get 1 handful katsuobushi/bonito flakes for dashi (Okay to leave out)

- Slice the celery stalks into 1 cm diagonal pieces. Mince the leaves and set aside. Cut the carrot into thin matchsticks.
