  1. Prepare 4 Ripe red tomatoes ,medium sized, chopped
  2. Provide 5 cloves Crushed garlic
  3. Take 4 cups Water or vegetable stock
  4. Prepare 1 tsp Olive oil
  5. Prepare 1 tsp Black peppers crushed
  6. Take 1 tsp Paprika
  7. Provide 1+1/2 tsp dry basil leaves
  8. Take 1/2 tsp Mixed herbs

Steps to make Tomato Basil and Garlic Soup:
  1. Heat a soup pot or deep pan. Add olive oil. When it heats, add crushed garlic and saute till it gets crisp.
  2. Then add tomatoes, black pepper, mixed herbs and saute well. Add 1/2 tsp salt and sugar and keep mixing and cooking on medium flame till tomatoes are a bit soft.
  3. Then add 1 cup stock or hot water, cover and cook for 5 to 8 minutes or till tomatoes are very soft and mashed.
