The ingredients needed to cook Fluffy Pancake:
- Take 1/4 C melted butter
- Take 1 egg (beaten separately)
- Prepare 2 C flour
- Take 4 tsp baking powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Use 1 1/2 C fresh milk
- Use 1/2 tsp salt
- Prepare 1/4 C sugar
- Use 2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions to make Fluffy Pancake:
- Melt butter. Put aside. Beat egg. Put aside.
- Sieve together flour, baking soda, baking powder in a big bowl. (Use fork if you have no sieve/fine strainer but you wont get the flour as light as when sifting)
- Add milk and lightly stir to combine.
- Add salt, sugar & vanilla extract (if using). Mix. Dont worry of tiny lump.
- Lastly fold in melted butter & beaten egg until just mix.
- Heat your pan. Grease lightly with butter. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto heated pan (not too hot, then turn the heat immediately to the lowest setting), flip pancake when tiny bubbles appear and the SIDES lightly dry but not brown. Tips: Always cook pancakes over the lowest heat. Flip pancakes when sides are lightly dried (not too brown). This one stays soft. Cooled pancake can be Microwaved for 15 - 30secs.
